Internal Profits · Pricing
Every number on this page is estimated hours at $250, and the hours are printed next to the work. No form, no call, and no conversation about your budget before you are allowed to see what something costs.
Start here
Build the thing people remember
Name, logo, domain, vanity number, identity system, website, profiles. The foundation everything else gets built on.
Prove what converts before you scale it
Keywords, tracking, an SEO pass on the pages, then Google Ads. Thirty to sixty days later you know which terms produce booked work. The Growth retainers that run it every month are on the same tab.
Someone senior calling the shots
For a company that already has people doing marketing and nobody senior enough to say whether it is working. Sets the strategy, sets the budget, and holds whoever executes it accountable. If you want the work done rather than directed, that is a Growth retainer, under Growth.
Prove it, then report on it
Every call, form and booking traced back to the keyword, the campaign and the page that produced it. Then send us what happened after: which jobs closed and what they were worth, and the reporting answers what a marketing dollar actually returned.
See pricing →The follow-up that happens without you
Not a chatbot. A workflow that watches for something to happen and then acts on it. The lead at 9pm, the estimate that went quiet on day three, the review nobody asked for. Priced by build hours like everything else.
See pricing →Bring your list, forty-five minutes
Nothing here has to be bought as a package. Pick the lines you want from any tab, and we go through them together at the prices printed on this page. Most of that call is spent telling people what they can skip.
Book a 45-Minute Strategy Session →Everything below is one-time work priced in hours at $250, listed in the order it actually gets built. Research first, because you cannot name or design against a market you have not looked at. Then the pieces, smallest to largest. Then the bundles, if you would rather buy the whole thing at once.
Stakeholder interview (owner + up to 2 team, 60–90 min) · ICP definition — demographics, firmographics, pain points · Audience segmentation (primary, secondary, exclude) · Brand audit vs. competitors — voice, identity, positioning · Market data — search volume, CPC, competitor signals · ICP pain points mapped to SEO + PPC keyword targets · Full written PDF report · 30-minute debrief call with Patrick
Best first step before any brand or growth investment. NDA required.
Domain availability check · Premium domain sourcing · Vanity phone number research · Basic trademark screening · Competitor review · Naming recommendations
Premium domains and vanity numbers can be purchased by third parties at any time. Availability cannot be guaranteed until an asset is secured. We recommend purchasing immediately on delivery of the report. Internal Profits is not responsible for assets acquired by others during or after the research process.
Everything in Brand Assessment and Vanity + Domain Search, delivered as one report: ICP and positioning findings sit alongside the domain and vanity number options, so naming decisions are made against real market data instead of instinct.
Waived on any 6-month retainerA handful of industries already have the whole identity finished and sitting there: the name, the logo, the domain, the vanity number and the launch pages. If yours is one of them you skip the search entirely and it is yours the day you take it. If it is not, the report above is where you start.
2 concepts · 5 revision rounds · AI-assisted vector concepts · Final files in standard formats
Credited toward the Brand Identity Package if you upgrade later.
Keyword volume and competition analysis · search intent analysis · competitive research · seasonal and trending opportunities · three keyword buckets: Ads, SEO and blog · suggested hashtags · priority recommendations · implementation roadmap
It sits here because the website has to be built on the keywords, not fitted to them afterward. Page structure, URLs, headings and service page names all come out of this. Building the site first and researching keywords later means rewriting pages you already paid for. Buy one bucket on its own for $250 on the Growth tab.
We interview you and you talk. What you do, who you do it for, where you do it, when you are available, and why anyone should pick you over the company down the road. Then we write it · laid out service by service, not one paragraph stretched over the whole company, so every service page answers those five questions on its own · mission statement and positioning line · website copy blocks written and ready to paste · 120-character short descriptions for every social profile · one or two calls to action, written to be used, not admired · Google Business Profile description and service listings written to the character limits · name, address and phone written once so the same wording goes everywhere and the local signal stays clean · the keywords each piece should carry, handed over with the copy rather than left for you to work out · language written for your service area, not a generic city swap · shaped around your actual customers where you have the data to describe them.
It sits here on purpose. The Keyword Strategy Blueprint decides which words matter, this decides what you actually say with them, and the website and profiles are built from both. Written before the site is designed means the pages get built around real copy instead of placeholder text that never gets replaced.
Verification handled end to end — including video verification, where we schedule and walk someone at the physical location through the recording live, and handle the resubmission if Google rejects the first attempt · Primary and secondary category selection (the single biggest ranking lever most profiles get wrong) · Full business information and service areas · Services and products listings built out · Business description written for search · Hours, attributes and booking links · 10–20 optimized photos with geo-relevant filenames and ALT · Q&A seeded with real customer questions · Website and appointment links set · Review request short-link created
Verification usually requires video. Google will typically ask for a live video walkthrough, so you need access to the storefront or premises and someone able to be there while we record it. Plan for that before we start. A physical address is strongly recommended for local SEO, particularly for trade and service businesses, because service-area-only profiles rank measurably worse for the searches that produce work. Priced per location, because every location is its own verification. Ongoing GBP posting and review management is included in the Growth Launch retainer and above.
A field-service CRM connected to your Google Business Profile so customers book a job straight from Search and Maps without ever calling you · Services and availability synced · Booking button live on the profile · every booking drops into your CRM as a scheduled job, not an email you have to re-key · test bookings run end to end before handoff
The most underused feature on Google. Almost nobody in the trades has it switched on. Someone searching at 9pm books you while your competitors are asking them to call back in the morning, and you wake up to a job on the calendar with the source already attributed.
Requires your own field-service CRM subscription, roughly $99/month, billed to you directly by the vendor. We do not mark it up or resell it.
Every page built the way a single SEO Landing Page is built, not a template filled with placeholder copy · keyword research buckets for up to four services and page architecture decided before a page is designed · conversion copy written for every service and location page · all content run through a plagiarism checker · meta titles and descriptions · URL structure · internal linking planned across the whole site · schema where appropriate · image optimization and ALT tags · site speed and Core Web Vitals pass included · built in Elementor Pro to customization best practices so your team can edit pages without breaking them · WordPress, on your hosting, owned by you · submitted to Google for indexing page by page
Hosting, backups and maintenance available at $50 a month — managed WordPress hosting, nightly backups, plugin and core updates, uptime monitoring and security patching. Optional. You can host it anywhere you like and it is still your site.
Additional pages beyond 15 are $1,000 each. A single SEO Landing Page is $1,500, so a 15-page site at $15,000 is $1,000 a page — the site is the volume price, not a different product.
Proposal and scoping first, so the thing being built is agreed on paper before anyone writes code · research into how the work actually gets done today, because an app that does not match the workflow gets opened twice · native build · interface design · testing against real use, not a happy path · a 20-day deployment window once the build is signed off · the website is folded into the same build rather than quoted beside it.
Proposal, research, the native build, interface and testing run 90 to 110 hours on their own before the website is counted. That is where the floor comes from.
Priced from, never quoted blind. What an app has to do moves the number more than any other line on this page, so the real figure comes out of the proposal phase. Below this range a build means an account manager handing your app to somebody else and marking it up. That is a different service, and it is not one we sell.
Core Web Vitals audited and fixed — LCP, CLS and INP · image compression and next-gen formats across the library · caching and CDN configured · render-blocking CSS and JavaScript deferred · unused plugin and script audit · database cleanup · mobile speed pass · before-and-after PageSpeed scores documented
Speed is a ranking factor and a conversion factor at the same time. A slow page loses the position and the visitor who arrived anyway, which means you pay for the click twice. Included in the SEO Website Build. This is for sites that already exist.
Includes the full $3,500 Brand Identity Search & Report — assessment, ICP, positioning, domain and vanity number sourcing — then builds on it: domain + vanity number secured · Logo suite · Typography system · Color palette with usage rules · Brand guidelines document · Slogan recommendations · Social profile handles and assets · Cover images for all platforms · Full brand kit · Final vector files
Business filing included at no cost. LLC formation, Articles of Organization, registered agent, EIN and an operating agreement template. It is free here because the research above already checked the name against the state register, the domain and the trademark database — filing it is the last step of work we have already done. Which is also why the Brand Assessment has to come first. Nobody should file an entity or buy a domain and a set of handles before the name has been checked against the market it has to win in. This is a filing service, not legal or tax advice, and I am not an attorney or a CPA.
The same build process behind every brand in the Internal Profits Brand Collection, pointed at your category and market. You cannot build an identity without the research, so it is never sold separately from this package.
Built in the order the work actually has to happen: 1. Domain and vanity number search and acquisition · 2. Logo and full identity system — typography, palette, guidelines, brand kit · 3. Keyword research across Ads, SEO and blog · 4. SEO website built on those keywords, up to 15 pages · 5. Google Business Profile set up and verified · 6. Social profiles built and polished across up to 5 platforms
Quoted rather than listed, because the website is the variable and a five-page brochure site and a forty-page service-area site are not the same job. A launch with a modest site typically starts around $25,000. The research carries across all six pieces and is only done once, which is where the bundle saves against buying them separately.
For a company changing what it is, not just how it looks. A university moving its programs online and having to sell globally instead of regionally. A trades business rolling up four acquisitions under one name. A manufacturer opening in five new markets at once. The brand, the website, the search footprint and the market position all move together, because moving one without the others is how a repositioning fails.
Typically includes: new identity and naming architecture across parent and sub-brands · full website rebuild on the new position · SEO migration planned so you keep the rankings you already earned · location and market pages built for every new market · premium domain and vanity number acquisition · complete asset production and rollout across every property and profile
Scoped in the assessment, priced in hours at $250, and presented as a fixed number before anything starts. The range is wide because a single-market rebrand and a five-market global repositioning are not the same job, and pretending otherwise produces a quote nobody can hold you to.
SEO, paid search, content, local and link building. Available on their own or bundled into a retainer.
Keywords, then paid, then SEO. Most agencies sell you six months of blog posts against keywords nobody has proven convert. We validate demand with paid search first, where you get an answer in weeks and can shut it off if it's wrong. Only the keywords that actually produce booked jobs earn the SEO investment. It costs less to be wrong in Google Ads than it does in content.
One look across everything you already have running. Website SEO review — technical health, on-page, content gaps, what is and isn't indexed · Google Ads account review — structure, wasted spend, missing negatives, whether conversions are even tracked correctly · Rankings and local visibility check including Google Business Profile · Competitor gap analysis · Missed keyword opportunities · Conversion path review — what happens to a lead after it arrives · Current cost-per-lead where the data supports it · A best-guess recommendation on where the next marketing dollar should go · Written findings + debrief call
A diagnosis, not a plan. You leave knowing what's broken, what's working, and where you'd start. If you want the sequenced twelve-month build instead, that's the Growth Road Map below.
Everything in the Growth Assessment, then the part the assessment deliberately stops short of: channel strategy and budget allocation across channels · keyword architecture spanning SEO, Ads and content · page and content build sequence in the order they should be built · tracking and attribution setup plan · projected cost-per-lead by channel · quarterly milestones you can hold someone to
The assessment tells you what's wrong. This tells you what to do, in what order, for how much, over twelve months. Yours to execute in-house, with another agency, or with us. No obligation to retain.
Keyword volume and competition analysis · Search intent analysis · Competitive research · Seasonal and trending opportunities · Three keyword buckets: SEO / Ads / Blog · Suggested hashtags · Priority recommendations · Implementation roadmap
One documented strategy that feeds paid search, SEO and content. Included free inside a Google Ads Campaign Launch.
1. Keyword research across Ads, SEO and blog · 2. Conversion tracking, GA4, Tag Manager and call tracking wired in so every lead traces to a keyword · 3. Google Ads, up to three campaigns built and launched against the proven terms — usually three service lines, or one if a single service is carrying the business
Requires a WordPress site. If you are not on WordPress, a migration comes first, and we say so before you sign. Thirty to sixty days after launch you know which keywords produce booked work and which do not.
Read this before you buy the launch on its own
This is the honest comparison and it is why almost everyone starts on the retainer. The launch is the same work either way. One version stops on day 31.
The entry price is identical. Buying keyword research, tracking and an Ads launch separately costs $3,500 and buys you one month of activity. The same $3,500 as a retainer buys all of it plus roughly $4,000 of content and the whole automation stack, every month, for as long as it keeps working. We publish both because you should be able to see that for yourself rather than take our word for it.
GA4 configured properly, not just installed · Google Tag Manager container built and documented · Search Console verified and linked · Conversion actions defined and tested — form fills, calls, bookings, chats · Call tracking wired in · UTM naming conventions set so every channel reports consistently from day one · Google Business Profile links tagged so local traffic separates from ordinary organic · Reporting view built so you can see cost-per-lead by source without asking us
Priced once, not per campaign. Launch three campaigns on top of it and you never pay for this again. Without it, a Google Ads campaign is spending money it cannot measure.
Includes the $500 Keyword Strategy Blueprint · Campaign architecture and ad group structure · Responsive search ads with multiple headline and description variants · Negative keyword list built before launch, not after you have wasted spend · Geographic targeting down to zip code · Dayparting and demographic targeting · All relevant extensions · Ad copy written and checked for originality · Bid strategy selection · Full QA and a live launch review with you
You always own the Google Ads account. Ad spend is billed directly to you, never through us. Within 30–60 days you know which keywords produce booked jobs and which don't, and that list becomes the SEO plan.
Keyword research · Competitive analysis · Conversion copy · CTA optimization · Meta title + description · URL optimization · Internal linking · ALT tags + image optimization · AI image generation where applicable · Schema when appropriate · WordPress implementation · Indexing request · Three revisions
The highest-ROI service on this page, and the first thing built once paid search has proven the keyword.
Keyword research + search intent analysis · 1,000–2,000+ words · Plagiarism screening · Fact verification · Editorial review · Up to 3 revisions · Internal linking · External authority citations · SEO title + meta description · Heading hierarchy (H1–H3) · ALT text · Brand fonts and colors · Hero + supporting images · WordPress implementation · URL optimization + indexing request
Same job as an SEO blog, published somewhere else. These are guest articles placed on real editorial sites that link back to you, reported with the DR of every placement so you can verify what you paid for. They come last on purpose: pointing authority at a page that has not proven it converts is expensive practice.
Keyword research and anchor strategy tied to your proven money pages · Placement sourced and negotiated on a real editorial site with a live audience · Article written and published by the host site · Internal link built from your own site to reinforce the placement · Publisher managed end to end so you never deal with them · Live URL and DR reported on delivery
Priced the same as an SEO Authority Blog on purpose. It is the same work, published on someone else's domain with a link pointing back at yours.
3 guest posts on DR 40+ sites · 3 guest posts on DR 30+ sites · 1 guest post on a DR 20+ site · 2 niche edits on DR 40+ sites · Anchor text distribution planned across the full set to stay natural · Topic selection mapped to your money pages · Internal linking built on your site for every placement · All nine publishers managed for you · Every live URL and DR reported
Nine placements for less than four singles. At market rates a single DR 40+ guest post frequently runs $400 or more on its own, before anyone does the research, the outreach or the internal linking.
One-time work is priced here. Ongoing work lives in a retainer. A distribution campaign or a press release has a start and an end, so you can buy one. A newsletter or a media relationship only produces anything by running for months, so selling it as a single month would be selling you the first month of something that needs twelve.
Facebook · Instagram · LinkedIn · X · Google Business Profile · Pinterest · Threads or agreed channel — each with channel-specific formatting, optimized captions, hashtag strategy, image creation and resizing, link strategy, comment placement, and scheduled publishing
Not included: original content creation · community management · daily posting
On paid social: we run Facebook Ads and nothing else right now. Not Instagram, not TikTok, not LinkedIn ads. Facebook is the only one where we have enough reps for it to be worth paying for, and running a channel we have not proven costs you money to teach us. Facebook Ads are built and managed the same way as Google Ads, under a retainer.
Newsletter strategy · Copywriting · Design · Distribution · Performance reporting · Content distribution campaigns bundled at retainer rates
Ongoing by definition, so it lives in a retainer. A newsletter run for one month teaches you nothing and builds no list.
Angle development — finding the story a journalist would actually run · Full release written to AP style · Quote development with you · Wire distribution · Targeted media list built for your market and vertical · Syndication tracking and a report of every pickup · Optimized for search so the release itself ranks and earns links
Best used on something genuinely newsworthy: a new location, an acquisition, a hire, an award, a milestone. A release with no news behind it gets picked up by nobody and helps nothing.
Ongoing outreach to journalists, editors and podcast hosts in your vertical · Relationship building rather than one-off blasts · Story angle development on a rolling basis · Expert positioning so you get called for comment · Coverage tracking and reporting
Not sold as a project. Earned media compounds through relationships built over months, so it only works inside a Fractional CMO retainer where that time is already committed.
Full 3-bucket keyword research (SEO, PPC, blog) · 3 service or location pages quarterly + 2 SEO blogs monthly · Google Business Profile optimized + 4 posts monthly · Google Ads management, you own the account and spend · Dedicated call tracking number with AI call scoring and transcripts · Missed-call text-back in under 90 seconds · 3-touch automated lead nurture (email + SMS) · Monthly strategy call + live reporting dashboard
Recommended ad spend $1,500–$3,000/month, billed directly to you.
Everything in Growth Launch, plus: 5 pages quarterly + 3 long-form blogs monthly · Full CRM build with every lead tagged by source · Speed-to-Lead AI — texts and qualifies in under 60 seconds · Estimate follow-up loop at 24 hours, day 3, day 7 · AI review engine — 5★ routed to Google, 1–3★ routed to a private form · Proposal generator — form data to branded PDF automatically · Bi-weekly strategy calls + priority Slack access
Add-ons: social content distribution $1,000/mo · email marketing quoted from month 4. Recommended ad spend $3,000–$5,000/month.
Everything in Growth Accelerator, plus: multi-city expansion strategy and franchise-ready playbooks · LSA, Display, YouTube and Discovery campaign management · unlimited ad spend management, no cap · enterprise CRM integrations (Salesforce, HubSpot, ServiceTitan or your own) · deep competitor intelligence with quarterly market pivots · centralized roll-up dashboard across all locations · custom automation builds · weekly strategy calls + dedicated account manager · 24/7 priority Slack + quarterly executive business reviews
The question nobody publishes an answer to
Using Growth Launch at $3,500 a month with $2,000 of monthly ad spend. Ad spend is billed to you by Google directly, never through us and never marked up, so it is separated out below.
| Our fees | Ad spend | That month | Running total | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Month 1 setup + first month | $7,000 | $2,000 | $9,000 | $9,000 |
| Month 2 | $3,500 | $2,000 | $5,500 | $14,500 |
| Month 3 first real data | $3,500 | $2,000 | $5,500 | $20,000 |
| Month 4 | $3,500 | $2,000 | $5,500 | $25,500 |
| Month 5 | $3,500 | $2,000 | $5,500 | $31,000 |
| Month 6 | $3,500 | $2,000 | $5,500 | $36,500 |
Almost all of the work is front-loaded. The site gets revamped, tracking gets built, keywords get researched and bucketed, campaigns get structured, calls get routed and scored. Ninety days is usually the point where the rubber starts meeting the road, not the point where you have an answer. Cutting it there often means cutting it right before the data arrives, and if your business is seasonal it can mean cutting before your season even starts.
So the term is six months, and it is firm. What you get for it is not only leads. At the end you know which search terms produce work, in which markets and which zip codes, what each one costs, which ad copy converted, which hashtags map to real demand, and which pages earn traffic without paid support. That is yours permanently. The keyword research does not expire. The tracking stays wired in. The vanity number keeps working. The ad copy transfers to every other channel you ever run.
Right now most owners cannot tell you where their last ten jobs came from. Six months from now you will know, and you will know it for the rest of the time you own the business.
Six months of Growth Launch at $3,500 a month, the $3,500 setup, and $2,000 a month of ad spend. $36,500 all in, of which $12,000 goes to Google, not to us.
| If an average job is worth | Jobs to break even | That is |
|---|---|---|
| $1,000 | 36 over six months | about 1.4 a week |
| $1,500 | 24 over six months | about 1 a week |
| $3,000 | 12 over six months | one every other week |
Run your own number. If one qualified job a week does not clear the cost, this is not the right spend for your business and we will say so on the call rather than sell it to you. If it does, the only question left is whether the system produces one job a week, and that is what the case studies are for.
Why a retainer beats buying the pieces
Priced at the same rates published on the tabs above. No special math, no invented value. You can check it yourself in about a minute.
| Delivered every month | À la carte |
|---|---|
| 1 SEO service or location page (3 per quarter) | $1,500 |
| 2 SEO Authority Blogs (AI-assisted) | $2,000 |
| Google Business Profile posts + content distribution | $500 |
| Content subtotal, bought separately | $4,000 |
| Growth Launch retainer | $3,500 |
The content by itself is $500 more than the whole retainer. Everything else comes with it and is not sold separately at any price: Google Ads management, call tracking with AI call scoring, missed-call text-back in under 90 seconds, a 3-touch nurture sequence, the live dashboard, and a monthly strategy call.
Growth Accelerator works the same way. Its content runs about $6,000 a month at these rates against a $7,500 retainer, and the difference buys the full CRM build, Speed-to-Lead AI, the estimate follow-up loop, the AI Review Engine, the proposal generator and bi-weekly strategy calls — none of which have an à la carte price.
Because the point of hiring someone like me is to get the information you need to make good decisions about your own company. That starts before you sign anything. If you can price the work yourself, compare it to the retainer, and decide with the numbers in front of you, then the relationship starts the way it should continue.
It is also the honest version of my own incentive. A six-month minimum is not a lock-in, it is how long it takes for the data to say anything. Month one buys keywords and clicks. Month six tells you which keywords produce booked work and what each one costs. I would rather earn month seven by showing you that number than by having you locked into a contract you cannot read.
The most common request we turn down is "just run my social." Posting on a schedule with nothing to say builds nothing. We only publish when there is somewhere worth sending people — a blog, a newsletter, a service page, a landing page with a real offer — and every link carries tracking so you can see what the post actually produced. If you want volume rather than intent, we will happily recommend someone who does that well.
Google Ads bucket — commercial-intent terms, match types, CPC and competition data, negative keyword seed list · SEO bucket — service and location terms mapped to the pages that should target them, difficulty and volume · Blog bucket — informational and question terms for top-of-funnel content, plus suggested hashtags
Buy the one you need. All three together is the $500 Keyword Strategy Blueprint — two hours instead of three, because the research overlaps.
12 posts/mo — $1,000 (4 hrs) · 20 posts/mo — $1,500 (6 hrs) · 30 posts/mo — $2,000 (8 hrs). Every post written against your keyword strategy with hashtags, delivered as a chronological posting plan built around your season and how often you want to post. Channel-specific versions where formats differ. Every recommended link tagged so posts are measurable.
You publish. Requires a Brand Assessment first so the voice is defined. Hands-on publishing is Content Distribution or a retainer.
Original AI-generated imagery produced to your brand palette and fonts, sized per channel, named and ALT-tagged for search. Pairs with any blog, landing page, social pack or newsletter.
Sequence strategy and offer ladder · 5–6 emails written to your brand voice · subject line and preview variants · A/B split configured · triggers and timing set · links tagged for tracking · test sends run before it goes live
Applies to nurture, reactivation, estimate follow-up or outbound. Ongoing send management lives in a retainer.
Priced per domain, because that is how the deliverability math actually works. One sending domain safely carries about three inboxes, and each inbox sends a limited volume per day once warmed. Want more sends, you add domains, not volume per inbox. That is why this is a setup fee plus a per-domain cost rather than one number.
Sending platform configured · tracking domain set up and verified · DNS baseline and authentication standard defined · suppression and bounce handling · reply routing into your inbox · deliverability baseline tested before a single send · reporting connected so replies and bookings are attributable
Domain registered and pointed · SPF, DKIM and DMARC configured · 3 inboxes provisioned · warm-up schedule started and monitored through the ramp · sending limits set per inbox · placement checked before the domain is put into rotation
Additional inbox on an existing domain: $250 (1 hour). Want double the sends later, that is two more domains at $750 each, quoted the same way every time.
Third-party costs are billed to you directly, never through us and never marked up. Domain registration, mailbox licensing and your sending platform subscription are yours, in your name, on your card. You own the infrastructure. If we stop working together, it keeps sending.
A Growth retainer does the work. This does not. This is the seat that decides what should exist, what it should cost, and who is accountable when it does not produce. It suits a company that already has people doing marketing, or an agency already running ads, and no one senior enough to say whether any of it is working. Everything below is defined in writing: the hours, what happens in them, and what you get at the end of every month.
Growth retainers execute. Ads, pages, content, automation, AI agents — the work most businesses need running every month. Fractional CMO decides. You may not want us writing blogs or running Google Ads. You may want the marketing function owned: the plan, the budget, which vendors stay and which go, what to hire, and a researched recommendation your board can actually approve. Priced in the same range as the retainers on purpose, because it is a parallel choice rather than a step up. Some clients run both. Many run only one.
One practical difference: Growth retainers include hands-on Google Ads management. Fractional CMO does not run your ad accounts — it sets the budget, approves the strategy and holds whoever does run them accountable.
Monthly strategy session · Quarterly planning and budget allocation · Marketing vendor oversight · KPI framework and reporting review · Direct access to Patrick
Everything in CMO Essential, plus: bi-weekly strategy sessions · internal marketing team management and hiring input · full channel P&L ownership · campaign approval and creative direction · priority Slack access
Everything in CMO Executive, plus: weekly strategy sessions · executive and board-level reporting · multi-market and multi-brand oversight · M&A and expansion marketing diligence · quarterly on-site or executive offsite · Board-ready infrastructure recommendations — for example a complete AI and automation stack researched, costed, vendor-compared and presented for approval, whether or not we are the ones who build it
This is the part that makes everything else provable. Buy any piece on its own, or the whole stack. Each one is priced the same way as everything else on this page: estimated hours at $250.
| Tracking deliverable | Hours | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Google Ads conversion import | 1 | $250 |
| Additional ad platform conversion import (each) | 1 | $250 |
| Google Business Profile link tagging | 1 | $250 |
| Website form tracking & attribution | 2 | $500 |
| Business text messaging registration & compliance | 2 | $500 |
| Call tracking setup — numbers, dynamic insertion, routing | 3 | $750 |
| Meta conversion tracking — pixel + server-side | 3 | $750 |
| Analytics foundation — tag manager, analytics, search console | 4 | $1,000 |
| CRM lead-source tagging | 4 | $1,000 |
| Live reporting dashboard build | 4 | $1,000 |
| Server-side tagging (advanced) | 6 | $1,500 |
| Full Attribution Stack — the eight core pieces, bundled | 18 | $4,500 |
The bundle covers the analytics foundation, call tracking, form tracking, Google Ads and Meta conversion imports, Business Profile tagging, CRM lead-source tagging and the dashboard. Bought separately those come to $5,500, so the stack saves $1,000 because the tag container is built once and everything else hangs off it.
Every call, form and booking traced to the keyword, the campaign and the page that produced it · cost per booked job by channel, not cost per click · which zip codes and service areas convert and which burn budget · which ad copy earned the work · one conversion action shared across every ad platform so the totals reconcile instead of every channel claiming the same customer
Software subscriptions for call tracking, hosting, mailboxes and CRM are contracted in your name, billed to you directly and never marked up. You own the accounts and the data. If we stop working together it all keeps running.
Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, or Microsoft Ads — conversion imported from the same tracked action so every platform optimizes against a real booked outcome instead of a page view. One action, defined once, reported the same way everywhere.
Clicks, impressions, rankings, cost per lead. All true, none of it the number you care about. What a marketing dollar returned depends on what happened after the lead came in, and that data sits in your world, not ours. Forward it and the reporting can answer the actual question.
Send whatever you already have and we tell you what it says. A Google Ads account, a spreadsheet of closed jobs, a CRM export, twelve months of invoices, call logs, or all of it · we find which sources produced work and which produced noise, what a booked job actually cost you, which services and which zip codes carry the margin, and where the budget is being spent on the wrong half · delivered as a written analysis with the numbers behind every claim, not a call you have to take notes in.
You do not have to buy anything else for this. Plenty of people take the analysis, go and fix it themselves, and never come back. That is a fine outcome. It is four hours at the same rate as everything else on this page, and it is the cheapest way to find out whether your problem is actually marketing.
The analysis above, made permanent. Your job data and invoice values joined back to the lead that produced them, so every report from then on shows revenue per channel rather than leads per channel · matching logic built against how your records are actually kept, not how they should be · handles the messy cases, the job booked in March and closed in July, the customer who called twice · once it is built it keeps running whether or not we work together.
This is the piece almost nobody has. Cost per lead is easy and it is why every agency reports it. Cost per dollar of revenue takes joining two systems that were never meant to talk, and it is the only version that survives a conversation with an accountant.
| Ongoing reporting | Hours | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly performance report — written, with what changed and why | 2 | $500/mo |
| Quarterly business review — full analysis and where the budget moves next | 8 | $2,000 |
| Both, on any Growth retainer — already included | — | $0 |
Not a chatbot on your website. An agent is a workflow that watches for something to happen and then acts on it without you. A lead fills a form at 9pm and gets a real reply in forty seconds. A quote goes out and nobody chases it, so the follow-up runs itself on day 1, 3 and 7. A job finishes and the review request goes out while the customer still remembers you.
These are built and maintained under a retainer, never sold as a one-off. An agent needs monitoring, prompt updates and someone accountable when a workflow silently stops firing at 2am. The build hours below are what it costs to stand one up inside an active engagement.
| Agent | Hours | Build price |
|---|---|---|
| Missed-call text-back — replies under 90 seconds | 4 | $1,000 |
| Estimate follow-up loop — 24 hours, day 3, day 7 | 6 | $1,500 |
| Review engine — low scores routed to you privately first | 6 | $1,500 |
| 90-day nurture sequence — email and SMS | 6 | $1,500 |
| Instant lead responder — texts and qualifies in under 60 seconds | 8 | $2,000 |
| Proposal generator — form data to a branded PDF | 8 | $2,000 |
| The four core agents — bundled | 20 | $5,000 |
| Custom agent — scoped to your workflow | from 12 | from $3,000 |
Missed-call text-back, estimate follow-up, review engine and instant lead responder come to $6,000 separately and $5,000 together, because they share the same triggers and the same CRM plumbing. All four are already included in the Growth Accelerator retainer — this table is for adding one to a Growth Launch engagement, or building something that is not on the list.
1. A CRM that can hold the data. An agent acts on records. No records, nothing to act on. · 2. Tracking already in place, otherwise the agent works but you cannot prove what it produced. · 3. Registered business text messaging if the agent sends SMS. Carriers block unregistered automated texts silently, with no error and no delivery. Registration takes days to a couple of weeks, so it starts in week one.
Anyone who sells you an SMS automation without mentioning that third one has either not read the carrier rules or is hoping you will not notice when the texts stop arriving.
Every line on every tab is priced on its own, at estimated hours times $250, so a quote is only ever addition. There is no bundle you have to take to get one piece of it, and no line that costs more because you only wanted that line.
Come with the lines you think you need and we go through them at the prices printed on this page, not a version of them. You leave with a real figure whether or not you buy anything, and nothing gets quoted higher because you asked on a call.
Most of that call is spent on what you can skip. A page priced line by line is easy to over-buy from, and someone who already has a decent website and a working profile does not need half of what is listed here. That is a judgement call, which is why it is a conversation and not a form.
