Brand Identity

Logo, Colour & Type

Every visual element is defined and documented, so the identity can go on a menu, a window, a takeout box and a delivery app tile without a designer rebuilding it first.

Design Intent
Why these colours
Gold on near-black is what the category already reads as a room with tablecloths rather than a counter with a queue. The gold carries small type because it stays legible at menu size in low light; the reds carry heat and are the display colour.
Why this type
A condensed display face holds a window sign and a delivery app tile at thumbnail size, which is where most first impressions now happen. The body face is chosen for small-screen legibility and for printing small on a menu.
The Thinking Behind It

Why Spicy Chow Was Built

A restaurant is now chosen from a grid of thumbnails. Before anyone reads a menu or sees a room, they scroll a delivery app and pick from a name and a square image. A name that is hard to spell, hard to say, or indistinguishable from four others in the same list loses that round before the food is ever part of the decision.

Spicy Chow was built for operators who want a complete dining identity without spending months building one. Two words, both plain English, both easy to say out loud and type correctly the first time. The vanity number spells the brand, which matters for catering and large orders where people still pick up the phone.

What you do with the name is yours to decide. We are selling the name, the domain, the number and the identity system. Any menu, concept or campaign built on top of it is the buyer's to write and the buyer's to stand behind.

  • 🍜 spicychow.com, the exact-match .com for the name
  • 📞 833-SPICY-CHOW spells the brand on every placement
  • 📱 Two plain words that survive a delivery app thumbnail
  • 🔍 What our search turned up is published on this page, before you buy

Spicy Chow
spicychow.com

Internal Profits builds complete brand packages for operators that want a credible identity from day one. Not a domain listing. The name, the number, the artwork and the research behind all three.

Who This Is Built For

The Ideal Buyer

Spicy Chow suits operators who need a name to carry weight across many locations or many listings, rather than one room on one street.

🏙️
Restaurant Groups
Multi-unit operators adding a concept who want the name settled before the lease is signed, rather than six months into a build.
👻
Virtual Kitchen Operators
Delivery-only brands competing as a tile in a list, where the name and the square image are the entire storefront.
🤝
Franchise Builders
Franchisors who need a name every location can run locally while the brand stays consistent across the system.
📦
Food and Beverage Brands
Packaged sauce, noodle and meal producers who need a name that works on a shelf as well as it works on a door.
📱
Delivery-Native Operators
Meal kit and subscription businesses building a category vertical that needs a consumer-facing name in front of the operation.
🌶️
Chef-Led Concepts
Culinary operators opening their own room who would rather spend the next three months on the menu than on naming.
Putting the Price in Perspective

Count It in Months,
Not Dollars.

A brand is a one-time cost against an asset the business keeps for as long as it operates. The only number that matters is how long one location takes to cover it.

Months to pay for itself
One location, monthly sales
$147,109source

The figure above is the average monthly revenue reported across 859 restaurants in a published industry survey, not a result from any Internal Profits client and not a forecast. It is sales, not profit, and restaurants run thin. Published net margins sit at roughly 3 to 10 percent depending on format, with quick service at the high end and fine dining at the low endsource so measure this against your build-out budget rather than against your takings. Months to pay for itself is arithmetic on that average against this package price. Your own volumes, format and margin are the numbers that matter and we will use them on the call.

What our research found

The short version. We found no federal trademark registration for this name and no restaurant operating under it. Both words are ordinary English, which is why nothing is registered and also why a registration on the name alone would be harder to obtain than on an invented one.

Restaurant names are local first. Unregistered rights are built by use and are geographic, so a single independent trading under a similar name in one city will not appear in any register. That is the search no database performs.

This is a knock-out search published for reference, not a clearance opinion, and no trademark rights transfer with the sale.

Before you deploy. Have your own counsel clear the name for the markets you intend to open in. If the plan is a franchise or a packaged product, clear it in those classes too, because a name that is free for one restaurant is not automatically free for a system or a shelf.
